The 24th China Shanghai International Arts Festival - Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Culture Week kicked off in Shanghai on October 18, featuring a series of performances of seven original stage productions from the Greater Bay Area in recent years. Among them, the Cantonese opera “Double Embroidery Affinity”  was performed at the Shanghai Wanping Theatre on the evening of October 18 and received high acclaim. Many audience told Southern Finance Correspondent that this opera not only featured exquisite costumes and a strong Lingnan charm, but also had a sophisticated script that was deeply inspiring.

Besides various performances, the Reform Mission: Guangdong Art Centennial Exhibition in Shanghai, which documents a hundred years of changes in Guangdong, also arrived as scheduled.

Lingnan culture starts here, and its next stop will be an even broader global stage.
